Pennsylvania Home Prices Fall 6.9% in 2nd Quarter Compared to Same Period Last Year
We find that after adjusting for inflation home prices fell by 6.9% in the second quarter of 2008 compared to the same period last year, that is the third straight quarter of home price declines. We also find that home prices fell in 15 of 16 metropolitan areas around the state. Home prices fell the most in Lebanon, Allentown and Newark-Union (includes Pike County).
